Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how PollyTech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Truk-Em Deliver platform, including the Truk-Em Deliver web dashboard, the Truk-Em Driver mobile application, and related booking, delivery, and payment services (together, the "Services").
The Services are business tools used by moving and delivery companies ("Businesses"), their drivers ("Drivers"), and their customers ("Customers"). This policy applies to all three groups; where a section applies only to one group, we say so.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information. When a Business, Driver, or Customer creates an account or books a move, we collect information such as name, email address, phone number, and physical addresses (including pickup and delivery addresses).
Location information (Drivers). With permission, the Truk-Em Driver app collects a Driver's precise device location while the app is in use during an active move, and shares that location with the Driver's Business through the dispatch dashboard so the Business can track deliveries in progress. Location access can be revoked at any time in device settings; doing so disables live tracking features.
Photos and signatures. Drivers may capture photos of items, pickup conditions, and delivery conditions, and may collect customer signatures, as proof of pickup and delivery. These are stored with the associated move and are visible to the Business and, where applicable, the Customer.
Order and delivery information. We collect details of moves and deliveries, including item descriptions, dimensions, estimated values, delivery instructions, timestamps of status changes, logged hours, and pricing.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We receive and store payment-related metadata such as amounts, payment status, timestamps, and Stripe transaction identifiers. For Businesses using payouts, Stripe also collects identity and banking information under its own privacy policy.
Communications. If you contact us, or when the Services send transactional messages (such as order confirmations, delivery notifications, invoices, and payment links), we collect and retain those communications.
Device and usage information. We collect standard technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and logs of interactions with the Services, used for security, debugging, and service improvement.
2. How We Use Information
To provide, operate, and improve the Services, including dispatching, live delivery tracking, proof of pickup and delivery, invoicing, and payment collection;
To send transactional communications about moves, deliveries, and payments;
To provide customer and technical support;
To maintain safety, security, and integrity of the Services, including fraud prevention;
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for third-party advertising.
3. How Information Is Shared
Within the Services. Information is shared among the parties to a move as needed to perform it: Businesses see their Drivers' locations during active moves and the details, photos, and signatures of their orders; Customers see delivery status and records relevant to their own moves; Drivers see the order details needed to perform assigned moves.
Service providers. We use third-party providers to operate the Services, including Stripe (payment processing), bunny.net (content delivery for photos and media), and cloud hosting and email delivery providers. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of PollyTech LLC, our users, or others.
Business transfers. If PollyTech LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, meet legal and tax obligations, and maintain business records (for example, records of completed moves and payments). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Location. Drivers can revoke location access at any time in device settings.
Camera and photos. Camera and photo-library access are optional device permissions and can be revoked at any time in device settings.
Access, correction, deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. We will respond consistent with applicable law. Note that some records (such as completed transactions) may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes.
Communications. Transactional messages (such as delivery notifications and invoices) are part of the Services and are sent as needed to perform a move.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Services are intended for use by adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Drivers must be at least 18 years old.
8. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
